We have five hair stylist levels that recognizes our stylists for their talent, skills and industry experience.

New Talent | Journeyman | Senior | Elite | Master

New Talent Hair Stylists have completed a professional hair training program at an industry recognized education centre. After graduation, they begin a thorough apprenticeship at our salon that requires 2,900 service hours and successful passing grade of their exams to become a licensed, Journeyman Hair Stylist.

Journeyman to Master stylists have a wide range of skills and between three to over twenty years of experience providing the best hair care for our clients.

Our hair stylists will conduct a personal consultation each time you visit us so that we stay current with your goals and ensure you receive quality hair care.

Our hair stylists are constantly pushing themselves to challenge their skills. We love it when clients request a consultation to discuss a new hairstyle that might be a departure from the normal everyday style, or to get ready for a special event from weddings to gala dinners.

Welcoming & Safe Hair Salon Environment: 

Our primary focus is to ensure that our salon is a safe place to spend your time. We have critical sanitization procedures for each hair station, chair and the shampoo and conditioner bar. After each client service is completed, we sanitize the service areas and tools used so that they are ready for the next client. This helps us promote a safe working environment for both you and our team.

If you come into the salon wearing a mask, your Stylist will ask you if you want them to wear a mask during your service.

We strive to make Sharper Image a hair salon where everyone is welcome. Our goal is to make each experience at Sharper Image a comfortable, friendly and relaxing place to be. We are always open to your feedback to help us make the salon a great place to be.

In January 2024, we have updated and refreshed the salon to be even more welcoming so that you have an enjoyable experience with us.

Throughout the year we offer in-salon events such as our hair color Beach Day, braiding classes and a number of client contests where we giveaway incredible prizes. It's our way of honouring you for continuing to be our client.

Yes, we have extensions specialists who are certified in installing the latest extensions to add the volume and look you want for your hair. All extension services requires a free client consultation to discuss your goals so that we can provide a custom quotation for you.

Each stylist participates in at least three professional education events each year that are hosted by Sharper Image Hair Design. We bring in the leading hair professionals to train our team on the latest techniques to cut, color and style your hair. We also train on how to keep your hair and scalp healthy and vibrant.
